English Grammar | Verb tense: If there are many verbs, we can identify tense by looking at the first verb used. He has been working…..here “has” is the verb in present tense…..”been” is past participle, and “working” is present participle.
Finite verbs do not have tense. Infinitive to, root form, present participle, and past participle are finite verbs.
